If anybody needs it, I've uploaded the ISO from emule onto newsgroups, should be a lot quicker to download.Heres the nzb file, download the attached file and rename it .nzb

upload doesn't seem correct

The file size on this download is only 96k. All the downloads for Blackcat I've seen seem to be about 170mb. Any chance you could take another look and upload again?

cheers

The file is only an NZB, not the program itself. An NZB file is the equivalent of a .torrent file. To download the program you'll need a newsreader, try newsreactor

http://www.daansystems.com/newsreactor/

It has a free trial and its probably the easiest to use. You'll need to enter the server details, if you are on NTL the address is news.ntlworld.com and the port is 119

After you've installed it open the NZB file and it you should see a list of files appear in newsreactor, just click on Grab and the files should download. After they've downloaded open the download location and unpack the rar files with winrar

http://www.rarlab.com/

Sometimes newsgroup files are incomplete, so if you receive an error message while unpacking with winrar download and install quickpar

http://www.quickpar.org.uk/

and then open one of the par files in the download location and select auto-repair

If you want to know more about newsgroups (imo the best, and certainly the fastest, way to share files), this is a good guide

well personally i disagree there im not going into details but i think ftp/fxping is the fastest by far way to get files and its not at all like kazza and them pieces of steaming p00p :D all my ftps and dumps r 100mbit :D

Yeah, ftp is fast too, although there are other limitations as far as other people knowing where to go, also the cost as well. Horses for courses I guess. Both are better than conventional p2p.

smog, thanks. all clear now

i'm linked in and downloading, already caught up with the edonkey download, which was taking forever.

hopefully should be able to test jtag and see what I get from the modem.

then I'm going to need some firmware.

thanks again
