was looking into this for making fuel for a fire and was looking at the turbo still 500
any one used this and would this do to refine fuel with

anyone any advice

I only ferment wine but some times you'd think it was pure ethanol!


I'd be interested to see how biofuel ethanol works out costwise to run a generator though.
 
from what I know you need to mix it 15/85 with petrol so you would only save a little running in cars/engines
but this is for a bio ethanol fire and that costs about 1.75 per ltr is this can come down to £1 per lt is might be worth
buying a still
 
petrol is already mixed with at least 3.5% ethanol and some super market fuels are as much as 10% and it will soon be 15%
ethanol is rich in oxygen so causes corrosion of all metals, it also very acidic so it damages rubber and plastic seals, all ethanol is BIO as it is produced by distillation from sugar grains and potatoes in fact nearly all vegetable and fruits can used
