best gaming Platform?

didnt know where else to post this

Is there anything out there to beat the good old PC as a gaming machine?
Must admit i aint tried anything else since the good ol days of Sega Master sytsem

The Pc has stonkin graphics, a variety of control devices to suit everyone, brilliant processing power and aint antisocial (it dont take over the tele to be able to play)

Theres oodles of tweaks to make the experience better AND it can be used as an emulator to play cross-platform games - and also comes in handy for those 'backups'

whats your thoughts? is the Xbox just a cutdown PC? are the other consoles better than PC?

I like to Keep my PC for Online surfing, documents etc....... My Xbox I couldnt line without for gaming. Xbox live is excellent and if you dont want to pay £30 per year for that you can use the free online service of XBConnect.

I have a Gamecube also that in my eyes is the best console but lacks the support unlike Xbox.

Go Xbox and never look back (or at a PS crappy 2!!)

get a flashed xbox 360 and no pc will come close to it, especially graphics, recently paid £350.00 for a new graphics card and some games are still jerky
