Software Best free PDF reader/editor ?

Whats the best freeware PDF reader/editor ? no cracks just a simple reader and editor so I can edit them. I tried the Adobe cracked version but you need a degree in I.T to install the crack

Foxit is only free if you want the reader. The editing part is not free...

I was after a free reader and editor , I have Google plugin to read but I need to edit as well

if its not anything sensitive and you only need it for a 'one off' you could convert it to a doc file, edit then save back to a pdf file in word.

Acrobat X with Enfocus Pitstop 12 plug-in

it can be installed with a serial and blocking the host file

what exactly is she looking to change in the PDF? is it enter info into a text box or change actual text or add pages to to the pdf?

I have used a few PDF editor and i dont think any are really reliable.

My daughter has coursework for her hair dressing apprenticeship. She has PDF's they need to be edited with the correct answers then uploaded to the teachers web fore her teacher to check

I suspect they have used forms, do the Adobe free download should work.

PDF's are embedded so generally cannot be "edited".

Also if she uses a MAC she can use the build in application Preview to add text boxes to fill out the sections of the .PDF
