Best book for inspection and testing

Hi there was wondering if anyone had any suggestions regarding best book other than Guidance note 3 for inspection and testing? It seems the book lacks content when compared to the BS7671 18th edition wiring regs. Thanks Mark

I've got the IET Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition).

It's 150 pages, pretty in-depth and includes references to other texts (HSE etc) that may be of use for further reading.
Also includes model forms which can be used for in-service inspection and testing.

Costs around £50, but you can get them on ebay for just under £40.
Hope that's relevant to what you're looking for.

To be honest with you, having done the course myself, I think the best book is GN3 and OSG. It isn't so much about the book it's about understanding and most of the questions are designed to assess your ability to evaluate the situation.
