benq flash old firmware or new

hi ive got a benq drive not bothered about live but is there an old firmware you can put on like some other drives so it will play all waves for kinect or do i have to have the latest firmware on it as my other xbox has a really old firmware on it and it plays everything

The easiest thing to do is flash LT+ to it. That will play all kinect games, and save you updating for a while.
