Beginner help

Hello,

I would like to receive European satellite to myself in the UK but have no idea on what to buy.
The main thing i want is to watch european sports like Croatian league football as live as possible.
So if anyone could push me in the right direction of what dish i require and receiver that would be a huge help!
I would also like to use biss keys if that changes the type of receiver i would need.

For biss keys i use 2 options with a 1.2 meter motorised dish. The receivers i use are various Enigma 2 boxes favourite been an Octagon SF8008. On the enigma 2 boxes i run a few plugins BissKey Finder and AutoBiss neither option is 100% reliable so i end up editing the key in the SoftcamKey file and sending it back into the box.

The other option is a Viark 4k box this comes with a server attached to clear various channels and packages across the arc and has Autobiss. Again its not 100% reliable but it does save some key file editing.

Your in for a steep learning curve.

Do you have a motorised dish and box already if not start there by getting the kit.

I don't have any of the equipment yet no, I don't want to buy it without knowing if its compatible and suitable for my needs.
I live in South-west of the UK in Devon, let me know if i need to be more specific.

There are dozen of boxes you can use for feed hunting and biss keys a cheap option would be this.

Will probably opt for a motorised dish just to keep my options open. Yeah i think i will probably get that box i have seen it recommended a lot, will it give me the ability to use biss keys and channels as live as possible?

What do you mean as live as possible if its a live channel or feed from satellite then yeah no delay. If your referring to IPTV it could be up to 2 mins behind with some providers. Yes it will use biss keys.

Yeah exactly that, i'm used to IPTV which i know is delayed so wasnt sure if there was some sort of delay through satellite. Glad to hear there isnt. Perfect i will get it ordered, then im gonna get a professional to fit a motorised dish and then let the learning begin! Thanks for the help!

Guys its been a long time since I messed with my dish so i have forgotten most things, can anybody please explain in laymans terms how to get Softcam key file working in oscam especially what I need for the oscam.server file,

It seems as oscam can read the current Softcam file but I am getting a hex error in the logs

Who's softcam.key you using or is it your own and what version oscam ?

Tbh m8 I'm want anything that's supposed to open,open.

But that's just me being pedantic lol, I sure I remember that Diema sport used to open on 39e iirc,

I did get a few to clear with the softcam.key file but some that where in the key file didn't open i.e. erte 1 hd, erte 2 hd etc,

I would not even watch those channels but if they are supposed to open then let's get them open.

Oscam is the latest emu from Vix cam panel, softkey.file is up to date as far as I know.

Anyway it's just something I wanted to try again after a few years away from messing with keys and cams and quickly realized I forgot alot of what I knew, must be old age ,

I use keys mainly for sporting feeds so get the keys when they are released edit my softcam and away i go.

Just because keys for channels are in the softcam does not mean they are active keys though.
