RIP....I loved growing up in the 70s, used to have all their tartan gear on waiting on TOTP coming on, it was only last week
the missus said to me, I think you should stop wearing that tartan shit now and grow up. :(

One of the biggest bands Edinburgh has ever produced and they were all left potless thanks to Tam Paxton. Sad to hear Alan longmuir has passed. RIP

So sad to hear.

I believe that the fiddler Tam Paton also had his hand in many a tartan clad pocket.
Les "Deadeye" McKeown also didn't help their popularity.

I loved the fact that the initials of the BCR's made up THE band of the era:

S - Stuart
L - Les
A - Alan
D - Derek
E - Eric
