Battery Pack + Laptop

Hello, I recently bought a sony vaio laptop precisely about 6 months ago. I have recently encountered a problem regarding battery charge. It was charging only up to 92% but this figure has now dropped to 88%. could anyone tell me what the problem is. i have serached on interner for porblem and most forums say that the battery pack is faulty. if this Is this the case then i contact sony to send me another battery pack as i am well within my warrantly.

you should be able to contact sony. warentee usually last a year on electronic goods.
