Basic laptop £250-350??

im getting bogged down with all the different choices
It will just be used for basic web browsing and watching the odd youtube video.
I would prefer SSD but Im capable of doing a upgrade to a SSD if it does come without one

If it is just basic web browsing why not get a tablet be cheaper.

If you want a laptop then make sure you get one that you can upgrade. Most laptop these days have the ram and SSD soldered on to the motherboard so it is not possible to update them in at later stage.

good advise from @Grimeire I just treated myself to a new acer a315 hard drive I was lucky there but memory is fixed to main board wish I read more before I jumped it.

I had a look at the those specs but for nearly the same money you can get an I3.

The hp has upto 12 hours but lenovo machines battery life is much less.

Currys have some excellent deals on i3 Processors which are a very good basic Laptop today

I wouldnt buy anything from currys like tvs or laptops as thier aftercare is dreadful, salesmen who try and sell you hdmi leads at 80 quid a pop lolz
