Thanks mate, I've downloaded that now and I've also download Smirnoff rules back up of openpli. I've tried the openpli image first, my net id wasn't in the list so I pressed "first available". Any idea how long the process takes? As mine has been on "parse service description table..." For 15 mins now

We have done the following:
Added a check for dvbsnoop
Modified the bouquet names
Removed the channel number

Transfer to /tmp/ and install by using following command

Plugin must be run while on an active channel.

Pure areas are not listed. Select "Any Pure Area"

Hi Guys,

I have done the above, however when I run it from plugins and choosing Lewisham it says the below and stops. What do I need to do?

read Service Description Table ..
parse Service Description Table ..

Not sure what to do. Thanks
 
Make sure when you run auto bouquets your on a cable channel and it can take 10 mins for it to finish
 
does the above have dvbsnoop installed or do i need to install dvbsnoop seperately before installing the autoboquetmaker....seems latest openpli image doesnt have dvbsnoop in the image?

Install it first mate, it available some where on this thread

You can try install via telnet too like this

opkg update
opkg install dvbsnoop

If its available on openpli feeds that will install it.
 
ok thanks got it installed.....i decide to go for the openpli image...due to the fact that BH does not epg on cable ..just need to sort out how to set up epg with openpli..lol
@digi247...im sure you posted something regarding this setup of epg on open pli...

ok have set to save epg on usb stick....so do i have be on that PVR_EPG channel to download epg evrytime?...also how do i get it to show that he epg is downloading or doing something as it shows nothing on screen?...ive checked the usb and ther is no epg.dat file?..
 
what box have you got, if an enigma 2 you can use autobouquets plugin and it will create for you

Autobouquets for UK Cable is not on any image addons/plugin feeds. It may be on the the plugin for LSS forum. You will have to download it and mnaully install it.

Autobouquets 28.2 by Lraizer is a different plugin and is available on the plugin feeds/addons. This is no use to you for cable.

Vix image has AutoBouquetsMaker built in. This will do cable for you.

Update - i installed the ipk and ran the autobouquets here are the results

Could people in RoI test this script and post output please. Please be on a chanenl on 150000 MHz

1. Must have dvbsnoop installed. You can do this by issuing the following command.

2. Extract the file and transfer the script to /tmp directory

3. Chmod/change file attributes to 755

4. Issue following command using Putty/DCC

5. You will have three files created in the /tmp directory
data_sdt.txt
data_nit.txt
data_netid.txt

Please upload them as an attachment, mentioning what your net ID is. A copy of your lamedb file (located in /etc/enigma2/) would be good too.
