Argon Problems

Hi Guys

Chipped my Wii with the argon + wii clip, the problem i have is that it plays copy games but not origibal games, i did try soldering the 4 wires to make it region free but no joy, removing the wii clip i can play original games. any help would be appreciated

Do you know what fw on the Argon, have you tried updating it, are you sure you had the 4 wires correct as argon say if you have trouble with the original games that is is usally the 4 extra wires
this is all guess work as i have not used the wii clip and wire Install them in but would contact who you got the chip off and check the fw of it.

I got the chips from games4play, and according the website it is flashed with 1.8 firmware. I have checked the four wires, it's a bit strange that i can play copy games and not originals. Copy games work with 4 wires and without 4 wires.

all i can say to go over the solder on the chip to the clip to the chip just check thats all ok,

i had that problem with 1.3 firmware

try reflashing it to 1.8 before u start to uninstall anything
