App recreation / rebranding

Morning all,
I’m wondering if there is anyone out there who is willing to discuss the possibility of recreating/rebranding apps.
I would like to know how I go about doing it for myself and what I would need to get started if possible

I do not have a link to it but I use "APK Easy Tool V1.56 Portable" to de-complie an APK like XCIPTC or Smarters.
The best way I have found is to look at the folders after de-compiling the APK and look for the folder 'Layout', this will contain all the backgrounds or buttons etc.
I have learnt a lot by reading and searching the forums
