wow.freenetname.co.uk have been going for a number of years.

Two catches: You have to use them as your ISP and, probably more importantly, if you leave them you'll loose your domain name.

i've had experance with them, your right, if i leave them i do loose the domain and the only way to maintain the site is to use them as an isp, no thanks

HEREI use Easyspace, if you host your site with them you can get a free domain name, there several permutations they do..
