Discovery Channel [0w]
freq: 418.750 Mhz

i give you the rest of the channels if this one works
its just that my Tv is very difficult to read(its on way to TV heaven:angelwing )
But none the less ,
if it works i'll send you the rest of them
Hope they work

BTW
could we make a freq database? or are they all different for the areas
could some body else post their here to check if there difference

BTW im in Bradford

If you did a search m8 there are several postings listing all freq's for all areas, cmon ffs its not that difficult

@dinodog. I know my frequency as i have already scanned, however, the frequency that my dbox discovery channels are on does not pick up discovery on dreambox.....fekking wierd because if i add them manually to the xml i get the epg but no picture......a search of the forums would have turned up a post showing the slight variation in format for frequencies between dreambox and dbox, ie, enigma image 11800000 would be 118750 in theory but does not pick up. Got me stumped, but i will endeavour to get it going as it would seem it not just me whining about and once its fixed there will be something else to do !......as they say.....success is journey, not a destination ;) shit man, im gonna put that in my sig

Right, this is what i got when i scanned on the freq you provided:

<TS id="0016" on="f020" frq="41875000" inv="2" sr="0" fec="3" mod="3">
<S i="0444" n="God Channel [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="0447" n="NASN - American Sports [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="049a" n="SetantaSports1 [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="049b" n="Rangers TV [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="04eb" n="Reality TV [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="04ec" n="Deutsche Welle [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="04ef" n="Extreme Sports [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="13e0" n="Deutsche Welle [0W]" t="2" />
<S i="1a0a" n="Test2 [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="fff7" n="Red Hot Amateur [0W]" t="4" />

When i hunted through the xml for the same freq this showed up:

- <TS id="001a" on="f020" frq="418750" inv="2" sr="6952000" fec="3" mod="3">
<S i="04dd" n="Gems TV [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="04de" n="The Horror Channel [0W]" t="1" />
<S i="1973" n="Ts26 Test [0W]" t="1" />

So from that i guess using someone elses freq for certain channels yields different effects........gotta get that evocam 1.03 from gemini on this neutrino me thinks.

loady if you know the frequency off the dbox xml just take off the last 3 0's and that gives you the frequency for dreambox neutrino.

eg. here is dbox

<transponder id="0006" onid="f020" frequency="394750000" inversion="2" symbol_rate="6952000" fec_inner="3" modulation="3">
<channel service_id="048a" name="Sky Sports 2" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="04b1" name="Nickelodeon" service_type="01"/>

and here would be a dreambox neutrino

<TS id="0006" on="f020" frq="394750" inv="2" sr="6952000" fec="3" mod="3">
<S i="048a" n="Sky Sports 2 [0W]" t="1"/>
<S i="04b1" n="Nickelodeon [0W]" t="1"/>

as i say just take off the last 000. and change the format to this look using wordpad

hope this helps loady

Doing it via the remote makes no difference...the variables when set for manual scan on neutrino are 8 digits so putting 118750 is no different to putting 11875000 as with the latter the extra two digit spaces will be assumed to be zeros anyway.....11800000 is the frequency for discovery on my dbox neutrino.....if however, i add them channels to the xml manually in the correct format all i get is epg but no picture.

Here is the part of the xml from my dbox that displays the discovery channells:

<transponder id="0001" onid="f020" frequency="118000000" inversion="2" symbol_rate="6952000" fec_inner="3" modulation="3">
<channel service_id="03e9" name="Discovery Channel" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03ea" name="Discovery Chan + 1 hr" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03eb" name="Disc Home + Leisure" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03ec" name="Animal Planet" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03ed" name="Disc Civilisation" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03ee" name="Discovery Science" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03ef" name="Disc Travel + Adv" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03f0" name="Sony Ent TV Asia" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03f1" name="Discovery Wings" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03f2" name="Discovery Kids" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="03f3" name="Discovery Health" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="04dc" name="Performance Channel" service_type="01"/>
<channel service_id="0504" name="CNN International" service_type="01"/>

Now this is simple to convert to dreambox, all your really doing is abbreviating the longer tags.....but when done and added to neutrino dreambox stylee, all you get is epg. Still deffo reckon we need the gemini cam on it.

Off to bed now leefield as i have work at 11.00pm :(

Ill plug in dbox tommoz and dump xml, then i will load up dreambox fully working gemini and dump xml from that too.....will that be enough for you or would you also like the neutrino dreambox xml as well ?

Cheers m8

loady if it's the neutrino xml you want working just send me that and the your dbox xml i'll send you my email via pm
