Another stupid noob question

I have a FX programmer I got from Maxking in the good old days of ITV digital. It programmed the gold cards 16F84A and 24C16. Can I use this for programming fun cards (I have an Atmega), or is now useless and its time for me to get my hand in my pocket and buy a new one.

hi m8 to be honest go get yourself a new proggy i dont think your fx is any good now i have one of those from the good old days but did not even dust it of just bought a new one all the tuts ect go by the new proggys hope that has helped

Why don't you try it first and if your S/W is up to date then yipeee
As long as you can get it to work with:
At90S8515 for the flash and 24C256's for the eeproms you should be able to do the fun4's on those settings.
