hi is it possible to record iptv from my android tv box I have an external hardrive that will play through it but I cannot get it to record

You need to speak to your provider but with android there is no record facility,Only way would be to look for some kind of recording app

the only way round problem that I have found is another box to run in tandem the one I have ordered after looking on you tube is a box called agptec loops through android has two hdmi ports in and out you plug either memory stick or hdd
saw another slightly more expensive called beeline sea1

There is an app on google play called progtv that will allow you to record on android boxes , but i have not tried it myself as yet.
