An Error Has Occurred.. problem since chipping

Since I got my Wii chipped I randomly get the following message 'an error has occurred. press the eject button, remove the ame disc, and turn the power off.'

It's chipped with an argon, and has 1.8 firmware.

This happens on back up and originals.

A quick google and look on nintendo's site says that it needs to go back for repair.

Any ideas?

deos this happen while you are playing a game? or only when you insert game and try to load it?

only when playing

for example when playing mario kart it happens just before a race is about to start or just after it finishes

in wii sports its actually crashed like this in the middle of training

very rarely i get through playing without any problems

sometimes its once or twice, sometimes more

sometimes nothing happens for an hour and other times it can happen after 10-15 mins
