An 8GB Raspberry Pi 4 model arrives alongside a new 64-bit OS

Typical, just bought a 4gb the other week to run a 3D printer

kind of defeats the purpose of the pi in a way but will be good to see what can be done with this
shame its not the same type of price of other pi releases. not exactlly a cheap project board anymore

Yes, £74 on it's own, £99 if you get the complete starter kit. Not my idea of Pi tinkering territory.

Shame it can't run windows 10, then I could ditch my desktop setup.

Raspberry Pi 4 and Pi 3 officially support the IoT Core version of Windows 10, if that helps

some utube videos will show you how to install full Win 10

there are plenty mini itx boards on the market that give better performance for not much more money

I'm running rasperian on my and using as a cheap desktop computer. Currently using it to do an online radio course. Is ok but not up to any laptop level.

I reallyt should look into this ... I have a 3B installed inside of my Arcade cabinet.
