Hi guys,

I have an Amiga here 1500 version, looks like a desktop PC

It has a cd-rom drive on it........

I can get my hands on loads of Amiga games on the net, however do you know if there is any way i can burn them onto a cd rom and play via the 1500 itself?

why bother just get winuae

You can't get the proper retro experience without the real hardware ;).

I have some Amiga computers here, including the other version 1500. One of the 500s used to be mine.

I will use them again when I have the time :).

There is probably some software to run the images from the HDD?

£500 for that?!

No way, that guy is living in the clouds.

I've got 2 Amiga 500's and a Amiga1200 in the cupboard :)

I bought the A1200 on eBay 2 years ago for £60 including a hard drive, RAM expansion and stacks of original games :)

The good old days when you didnt have to chuck 2 Ghz at a machine to get it to do anything, and multitasking was exactly that lol.

Back in the days when everyone was able to get hold of all the hacked stuff without the internet to distribute it.

Playground swaps, anyone?

I still have mine, might get a HDD for it :).

The Motorola 68000 with its 192 interrupt vectors and wacky address decoding :).

Bougth all mine from the Glasgow Barras, I used to go in a spent almost my entire wage of pirate Amiga games, standing in line witha few coppers who were also waiting on their pirate games :)

I loved Walker, but my absolute fav stuff on the Amiga were the adventures like Monkey Island, Simon the Sorcerer, Beneath a steel Sky etc :)

Loved Xenon 2 with the 'BombThe Bass' soundtrack :)
