Ambit 100 giving me headache !!!

Hi,
Let me start from the beginning, i got the newbie NTL tut went maplins and made a max233 :xmas: followed the instructions and changed the MAC 2 digits at a time. At the end it says choose option 99 (MODEM WILL RE-BOOT WILL NEW MAC ACTIVE) if i choose 99 if brings up this i've posted here

If i go to 192.168.100.1 i get Page Cannot be Displayed : shocked2 but if i do the same IP on my subbed Ambit 200 i get the screen showing my subbed MAC do i need drivers for the Ambit 100 installed or are they the same 100/120/200

connect max lead to box along with cable feed
insert ...


cd non-vol enter
cd halif enter

mac_address (space) 1 enter your mac here ....

write leave space the this dash -

unplug lead power off then pop bk in
got to smac and just change the last 2 digits

for instance if ur active mac reads A2 change it to B3 then hit refresh and update mac exit the and try

They're the commands for a 200 ...he says he has a 100

It's Ambit 100 mate.

I too have a 100 and 200 and it works fine on mine

The commands for popping in a new mac through hyper terminal ...then spoofing your mac with smac

I've done an ambit 100 using this method and it works just fine for me

Cool, do you have a tutorial i can see ? Oh why can't i access my modem (100) through 192.168.100.1 but my subscribed modem works ?
