I recently bought a bundle deal from Richer Sounds, not a real fancy system just something to get me back in the game, full disclosure i was pissed as a fart when i bought it. But even when sober was happy with what i bought . The issue, though not a biggie still grinds me, the amp was a Cambridge Audio AXA25 and the speakers that came with it where Wharfdale Diamond 9.0.
While setting up the system i happened to look at the FAQ's from Cambridge Audio and discovered they do not recommend 4 or 6 Ohm Speakers , guess what ? the speakers as supplied by RS are 6 ohm speakers.
So i contacted RS and a few days later they replied saying the speakers where "Well within tolerance"
Now my question is who do i trust Cambridge Audio the manufacturer or Richer Sounds who i would normally trust..?
tbh im feeling well shit upon, mostly by RS.
If they had played the game better i might have spent a whole load of money with them, but now im not so sure
Your thoughts..?
