Am i being too fussy ?

I recently bought a bundle deal from Richer Sounds, not a real fancy system just something to get me back in the game, full disclosure i was pissed as a fart when i bought it. But even when sober was happy with what i bought . The issue, though not a biggie still grinds me, the amp was a Cambridge Audio AXA25 and the speakers that came with it where Wharfdale Diamond 9.0.
While setting up the system i happened to look at the FAQ's from Cambridge Audio and discovered they do not recommend 4 or 6 Ohm Speakers , guess what ? the speakers as supplied by RS are 6 ohm speakers.
So i contacted RS and a few days later they replied saying the speakers where "Well within tolerance"
Now my question is who do i trust Cambridge Audio the manufacturer or Richer Sounds who i would normally trust..?
tbh im feeling well shit upon, mostly by RS.
If they had played the game better i might have spent a whole load of money with them, but now im not so sure

Your thoughts..?

I would heed what the manufacturar says. At the end of the day RS, although usually good, can't always get it right with the staff they hire, and ultimately want your money. I don't know how recently you bought the gear, I'm sure they will replace them if it was recently.

Just google lower inpedance speakers for yourself, this is what came up when I did.

GOOGLE

Just reading the manual for your unit Cambridge AXA25 and the Technical specs given:
"Power output 25 watts (into 8Ω)"

I'd stick with the manufacturers advice and look for some 8 ohm speakers, especially with such a nice amp as lower impedance speaker "could" damage the outputs

Have you actually told Richer Sounds that you'd like to replace them with something else?

I've been buying stuff from them since they started, and I've always found them great to deal with.

Yeah.. Seems Richer Sounds own / or maybe are some part of a larger company we all don't know about.
From way back i have read about concerns about CA and another outfit ,as im new to the game i will not name them.
Looks like RS are sole retailer fpr CA,or at least are encouraged to sell over other brands.
Denon as a brand used to be top knotch when i was younger, but now compared there latest stuff is SHIT
I found that last Highlated word really awkword to add.But yeah RS..Are Not The Company i thought they where

Well i listened to Cambridge Audio and got myself some 8ohm speakers (Mission LX-2 Mk II) and guess what ? They where sent from the same address that the Wharfdale speakers where sent from, under the same group it seems all to shady for my liking, but tbh the Mission's are sounding
