i just bought a chipped box for £150 i was told when i bought it thats its got the new Titanium card and it cant been turn of as it update itself but now i got the box the guy telling me it might go off in a few months and it will need re keyying but it will only cost £40 i feel this guy is doing me i have read on this site about dates being put on the card so i keep paying this guy money what do you guys think

what tit card is it tit 1 or tit2
u will need a programmer to read the card
and the u will need to redo a hex to put back on with a date far in to the future

it is a tit 2 card havent gone of yet but the guy who i bought it off which said it would NEVER go off as tit up dates its self now saying it will go off in about 4 months

ps i am on ntl
 
£150 for box and £40 to reprogramme your card ? ive heard of £5 £10 even £20 but 40 effin quid this guy really taking the pi55. have a good read about and if/ when it goes off youll be able to do it yourself m8 if you had a programmer.
 
the bid i dont get as i been reading a bit on here why he say he got to take my box everty time it go off this is the second box i have of him the last one burn out so he said but as i know now he is taking for a ride big time the last box was cheaper but he told me that this new tit card cost so much but now i now you can buy a programer and a tit2 card on ebay for 60 quid
 
Get something like a dynamite programmer and a funcard or atmega card...cheaper than a tit 2...easier to program... but do the same thing
 
i use an auto updateing atmega and dont pay him 40 quid m8 just reprogram ur titanium hes proberly fixed an exipry date on it for a few motnhs or somehting ;)
 
i just order a INFINITY USB PHOENIX PROGRAMMER of ebay and 2 tit2 card to get some practice in before mine go off i have done a lot of reading but i know it in the doing only bit i dont get is is the ird number and the box key i have read the easy way to get them is from my card but if that is locked it seem i will have to go the hard way and get it from my box will i need more hardware to read the eprom or would it be easyer to buy a new box as i have seen them selling on ebay with the ird and box key number with them
 
Wouldn't buy one from ebay you can keep the one you have working no problem with the help of the great people on this site.
 
do you meann the tit card is thier something wrong with buying them off eabys i just thoght i would buy a couple to practice on before my card expires and i dont want to mess the one i got
