Adsense coding

Hi
Is anyone able to help please.

I am constructing a page on my latest web site and I want to place some adsense code to the right of the text on the page with a 300x250 block code copied onto clipboard from google.

However not only does it not appear in the correct position, it knocks all the text that follows down the page but it also reports web page not found.

If someone could have alook please and give advice I would be grateful.

I have cleared up the pushing other text down the page - I had not closed off the </div> but it still says webspage not found i.e. 404 error page.

Just to let everyone know that I have now solved the coding problem. Thanks in anticipation to those who were about to contribute a solution.
