Hey

just wondering after i go to add/remove programs does it clear them completely?

or is there a program i can get to clean up my pc a bit?

Add/Remove is the recommended method.

Whilst some programs don't fully uninstall properly and leave empty folders and redundant registry keys. There are registry cleaners and 3rd party software removal programs, but they can cause more trouble than they are worth.

i agree with little_pob

remove with add/remove then manually remove any folders left behind.

many of the so called remove utilities are a bit vicious and can and do remove far more than they should and can render your pc useless (ive seen it)

i can recomend registry mechanic thou, this does seem ok and does create a restore point berfore attempting to fix anything.

I use somthing called crap cleaner try looking for ccleaner.exe on Google

you can use add/remove prgrams and go into program files and manually remove any folders left for that software.

alternatively you can try ccleaner
i usually also use windows search as a handy utility also to find any remainder of programs.

:ASSFLASH:
