Adding an extra OS

Hi, ive buaght a new PC with a big 320g hdd! I was wondering how easy is it to have another OS alongside Vista which will be pre installed. Any help is much appreciated. Cheers

you can do it, use xp , partition ur hard drive then what ever the drive letter is when booting xp on ur system choose that letter to install xp on u should be ok then , then once installed you can choose either os to but into , if you need any more help , let me know

Thanks for the reply, the comp ive baught has Vista on it, do I have to have XP on first? I havent got the cd for Vista its pre installed
