Adding a spcer.gif image in my script.

Use photoshop or paintshop pro to create a 1 pixel x 1 pixel square. This can either be the same colour as your background or transparent - ideal for if your background isn't going to be one colour or changes across the site depending on section being viewed. It'll take me 30 seconds to create when I get home from work if you're still not sure.

You then use the width and height attributes in the <img> tag to resize spacer.gif (or whatever you call it) to give you the layout you want.

Alternatively the W3 would prefer people to use CSS to position elements: http://www.w3schools.com/Css/pr_class_position.asp

Spot on mate, the pixel one is the way I was wanting to do it as I only know HTML, CSS etc is beyond me at the moment.

I was just unsure as to how to create the image, I never knew you could do transparent pixels which is exactly what I need.

Will have a go now.

Cheers for all your help mate.

No doubt I will be back at some point to pick your brains a little more.

I remember my last website I had to redo every menu on every page after an update because I could not get the .htmls menu system to work.

Hopefully I can put it in this one.

Done one for anyone else that might need it too - rar'd it up as a transparent 1x1 pixel isn't going to be easy to click on ;)

Unrar'd its a whole 85 bytes in size!
