For some reason I remember seeing the cables.xml somewhere before but I'm not 100% sure?

Is it included in the infobar.diff?

It was in a diff that i made ages ago when I thought diffs were the dogs dangly's

It's easier to put the cables.xml in
/tuxbox-cvs/cdk/root/share/tuxbox
and
/tuxbox-cvs/root/cdkflash/root/share/tuxbox

To be honest I search the tuxbox-cvs and replace all 4 :)

The cvs changes so much that diffs go out of date to quickly so I normally keep a record of changes and just copy and paste them into new builds, not very eloquent but it works for me, plus sick and tired of diffs that no longer work because of changes in the cvs.

Ehehe, adding that to diff is devil's job! Too much lines. : shocked2
Second option is much easy and cleaner.
