acer laptop problem

ok guys i have the acer 9301awsmi laptop

just recently i noticed the screen back light flickers and goes off but if u move the screen slightly it comes back on (seems like a dodgy cable)

its only some times this happens

is it the inverter or some cable?

as u can till see whats on screen but its very dark .etc (only when back light goes off)

lappy is about 18month old

anyone know were to get parts to sort it out?

checked ebay but nothin much

and how much u reckon its goin to cost 4 parts?

It could be the cable that is plugged into the invertor is coming loose.

But to be honest I reckon the invertor itself is needing replaced.

Sometimes just re-seating the cable is enough to give you a few months use.

I usually grab 2nd hand invertors on eBay for buttons.

i usually leave my lappy open most of the time

will wait till it gets worser before ripping it apart to investigate further

It could also be just the cable from the screen to the MB being faulty or loose. Normally this cable, as it goes through the hinge to the MB , will break over time, as I have found on numerous lappys I 've repaired.
