Alrite lads,

bit of a problem

got a 6230i but bluetooth wont turn on as soon as i go to turn it on it just goes bk to the bluetooth menu in settings

ad a luk thru the forum but **** c out

take battery out, leave it out for 10 mins

then put it back on,

With the phone on, and sim in type this
*#2820#
The phone should return with a bluetooth address. If it does not, or return with all 0's then the bluetooth i.c is screwed, or at least needs to be re-flowed.
If you get a proper address, then it is a 5 second job for anybody in an unlock shop with a jaf box, tornado box, etc (no freebee software for this sorry).

Hardware failure...Very common on this model. If you have no idea what re-flowing is, or you don't have the equipment then it will need to go to a repair shop / centre.
