500s running at 95% CPU?

I have a DB500s with Gemini 3.4. It works fine, I can mount network shares and stream recorded content from my server.

I was testing with gbox and found that when ever I streamed a film it would glitch and pixilated very badly. I telneted on to the box and found the CPU over 95% constantly, even without the steam. I reverted back the image (without gbox) and the cpu was 25%.

Have i miss configured gbox?

why not download another cam and config via the blue button instead of gbox and see if that helps. it might just be that gbox is very heavy on system resources

Use ccCam 1.6.2, absolutely Solid. Im using it for my server now.

Where can I download and how do I install / configure the DB500s?

you download & install cams by using the blue button on your remote control. Just download and install cccam as suggested and its already configured, so nothing to do. It really is the most simple cam emulation you can get.
