500s problem

dm 500s running fine past few months with pli image.
got up this morning to a black screen, unplugged/plugged back in few times, power (green) comes on but nothing appearing on screen, cannot put on standby either using power button on box.

it will not connect via dreamup either using null cable.

is there any way to get this fixed?

looks like i need to jtag the box?!
anyone have any info on this and where i can get a jtag from?

it's defintely not connecting using a null modem cable and dream up? This would mean you bootloader is knackered...

Try a different known working null modem lead. JTAG you can make your own, or I believe TMC sells them you probably need a generic one where you can solder the leads to the jtag points on the board. Not sure if you can get a pogo pin one for DM500.

defo not connecting using null modem cable and dream up.
null cable is working fine as i've tried with eurovox.

not very good at soldering lol...i will check out tmc
