iPhone 3GS unlock orange

I no this is a long shot but bought my niece a 3GS second hand for Xmas but it's locked to orange and need it to be on another network but orange won't unlock it for me cause I'm not a customer of there's and you have to be for at least 3 months would anyone kindly be able to request an unlock code of orange me for

hi mate im not with orange , maybe if u bell them they might sort you out , other options are jailbreak and unlock using redsn0w and ultrasn0w, the easier option is to phone orange

Hi the phone is on the latest firmware and base band so it's not able to really and orange say u have to be on there network before they would even consider unlocking it the only way is if someone already on orange then they would do it because I never bought it from them
