360 no vid output?

Occurs when box is not used for a while.

Has sound and boots games up fine but no vid?

Towel trick fixes it for a few days....and ideas and fixes

banned box on a 46 hitachi drive.

x-clamp fix will sort this, its a GPU error, as good as 3 red rings but isnt good enough for 3 year warranty!!!!

do I get a kit off flee-bay, easy to fix?, know how to take box apart (did so to flash it)

Yeah its pretty easy, I got the kit from a mate, his bolts tighten with an allen key so its superb for convenience.

what exacly is the problem and how does a bunch of washers and bolts fix this, just curious?

from what i know it the original xclamps are on a suspension method and after time the hold begins to fail allowing the heat sink to come away from the processor causing it to over heat this is then what causes the red rings

the nut and bolts stops this by like any nut and bolt you are able to titan them keeping the heat sink on top of the processor
