I am not familiar with super hubs but most routers will default to an access point if they are connected to another router. You just need to disable DHCP and I advise you configure the router acting as an AP a static IP. What happens when you run a physical cable from the main router to the second one. Disable DHCP on the second router before you do this.
Also powerlines are not all they are made out to be to get the speed they advertised you must only have 2, not too long of a distance, be very lucky. All in all they are a last resort in my book.
