1921 error on unistalling kaspersky

when i go uninstall kaspersky on vista it comes up with a 1921 error, service kaspersky anti-virus 7.0 (AVP) could not be stopped verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services, retry....cancel, when i press retry the same message appears.

how do i remove this programme?

you need to try and disable it prior to removing it. Kaspersky often asks for a password to enable/disable before enabling/disabling itself.

You should be able to disable it from the msconfig menu in the Services tab and Startup tab.

Restart then and uninstall.
