16mb upgrade

I am sure that fault is pointing to the onboard memory, but i could be wrong,
does it boot ok without the memory board in place what does the lcd show then?
the LCD should show 32/00/08 not 32/4095/08 if the box has 32mb onboard like this picture
it should show 16/16/08 if the box only has 16mb onboard and a 16mb memory expansion board in make sure it is seated properly.

hi m8, it's 32mb onboard (AVIA 600) i dont know why show 4095..:Mad2: i know how to instal the RAM b'cose i have another one with AVIA 500 16mb onboard and they work there.i try 2 find why..

yes when i pull the 16mb Ex show like in u r pic 32/00/08 and boot ok but i whant 2 upgrade.that why i dont understand when show 4095 in place of 16 mb:Smokin:

The box can only have 32mb of ram max you cannot upgrade it so it reads 32/16/08 =48mb
its not possible.

I stand corrected that is the first time i have seen that done
but i dont see the benefit as dbox with 32mb can stream flawlessly over the network and process the epg with no issue's at all.
mgb or pt-1 will know more but they have not been around for months.

when you install cccam you will have smoll amount of ram something like 1~5mb..so add 16 or 32of ram help you 2 swich fast the chanel list and surf the menu better.first time i wos think it's no good to mix 32 with 16 but i see the same problem with our m8.maybe we find this bug...all the best:Wave:
