i;m sure u guy's have probably covered this before but i just can't get my head around it.

i have a 1000-1b boxin tw area 2 week ago they sent out new software for update on box, i had interupted the update (after 45mins) and then done 2 forced download, the box booted up as normal twice then started freezing, i had programmed a fun card for the box this was also working for a 1/2 hour then the box started freezing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and now is just stuck on 8888,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,could someone please clear for me whether this is a reflow of atemels job or could it also be a flashing the atmels.

The write procedure to the TSOPs stresses them a bit more than usual; likely it's a problem with the soldering or a fractured leadframe, die or bondwire in a TSOP.

If one of them is damaged there will be some reprogramming involved with a new set of chips.
