1.5 meter prime focus dish

Hi guys, I have just been given a 1.5meter prime focus dish complete with patio mount and actuator
I think its an old 1 the only infomation on the motor is a sticker with echostar
anyway i would like to know if i would get more with this dish than my 90cm offset on a stab h2h
the kind old man that gave me it said he thought the actuator was seized and the lnb might need renewing

Will i be better off with this working?

ps im in NE uk
with a topfield tf3000cip pro
at the moment i get 30w - astra 2 no problems

got one lying around myself in the back garden but nowhere to put it.You'll probably got an 18" actuator arm but will need a positioner to send it around i have a uniden which still works .What will you pick up? probably nilesat at 7w along with a lot of weaker stuff that we cannot pick with a 90 cm. Also a prime focus is a lot easier to tune in than a offset.

I just spent afew hours stripping the actuator as it was siezed
it now works again
im going to have a play around with it at weekend weather permitting


Does anyone know if an old uniden ust-950 lnb will pick up digital signals?
