Adding or changing positioner setup

Hi Guys,

Had Astra 4A (4.8E) working on my TM, and it has now decided to stop working, dish won't move to the correct position, any thoughts on how i can delete this and add again with the correct frequency and position?

You need to tell us a bit more about the set-up- is it a DiSEqC motor, H-H or jack positioner? Your location? Are all other sat's working, etc.?

And are you using USALS or or just DiSEqC 1.2?

Hi Trev, just DiSEqC 1.2

Have you tried it on USALS? If the dish & positioner are set up correctly it should 'find' every visible sat on the arc without having to fiddle about. You will need to enter your lat & long coordinates into the USALS menu of your receiver. Google maps is your friend here if you don't know them

I've done numerous, but putting actions into words isn't my strong point. But here is a useful guide- obviously as your dish is already up you can skip the first bits.

Glad it's sorted- what was it?

Needed to do a manual scan with all sats i wanted selected, didn't realise i had to manual add them then it would scan and all good!
