Aaaaargh!! Help me please!

Hi all.
Hope this gets your attention as this is exactly how I am feeling at the moment. I don't know if it is the right thing to ask as some sites frown upon it, But I am having real problems understanding my Technomate TM NANO OE single tuner internal hdd with automatic satellite dish. My supplier didn't exactly give any info on how it works as he assumed that all I would need to do was pay my subscription for a remote programme from him and away we go watching all the sports etc.
Unfortunately for some unknown reason (I have had numerous conversations from Technomate Technical) it will not keep the programmes for more than a week. I have tried all sorts of factory resets, scans etc but nothing seems to work. And he has given up and will not continue to renew my subscription.
Please if any one can help I would be so grateful. You could email me if you want on Email Removed.

What do you mean by the following?
1. automatic satellite.
2. it will not keep the programmes for more than a week

I mean motorised satellite.
Every time it tries to update programme guide it fails and I have to manually delete Epg and do open tv provider scan to get lists back but all channels (except freeview) have disappeared before I get to do this I then have to phone my provider to put all channels back on through some sort of team-viewer programme. And he is no longer continuing.

If you are asking if someone provide me with a c/nline, you are not going to get an answer on the forum.

You need to split up the isssues you have and deal with them one by one. So far, you seem to be bundling everything together.

Is your dish aligned correctly? Can you go to several satellites without any problems?

I can get quite a few satellites when it is working. No I am not asking to provide cline just how to install a CCcam into my model technomate nano oe i.e. Do I press menu set-up, system etc to install CCcam into tuner.

On Enigma2 receivers, there is no such facility. You have to transfer an edited file or edit the file on the receiver. You do not do anything with the tuner. YOu will need to edit the file called CCcam.cfg located in /etc/

You have not said which image (same and version number) you are on. That would be a good start.

A toolbox of software you need work with your receiver could include:
A linux compatible file editor such as Notepad++. Do not confuse with Windows Notepad.
A settings transfer program. Such as Dreamboxedit, Dreamset, E-Channelizer
Means to transfer files to your receiver. You can install/enable Samba on the receiver or you can use an FTP program such as Filezilla client
On occasion, you will need to issue Telnet commands. You can use a program called Putty, or you can enable the telnet client in Windows.

It will be in your interest to deal with things in a one by one.

My supplier has all this stuff and has repeatedly reinstalled new updates. The image is on 4th dimension. Vhannabal vix something. It does the same thing each time which is why he has given up with doing this. I am sure he used dreambox edit via team viewer to my computer. But as I have said I need to be guided through the process as he gave me no information except what he needed me to open.

You need to learn to do things yourself. You have yet to say which specific task you want to do. Other people will help. Sadly there are no mind readers here.

For updating channels:
I suggets you install the Isettings plugin. This will allow you to download/install Vhannibal's channel list using your remote.

Can you give me step by step list of how to install CCcam onto my enigma 2 via the dreambox or similar please then at least I can by a new CCcam to install as I am wondering if this one is corrupted.
For example go into dreambox click on such & such Open this unzip that....

I already have this on my box. I have tried loads of things including auto scan, Factory reset, Downloading Vhannabal, Boquet configuring, It's not like I haven't tried to work out stuff I just want to know how to change my CCcam which I think is possibly corrupt or something and then I can do it again if I lose my lists whilst I find out if the software in the box is faulty or something else.

CCcam is already installed. You need to edit the configuration file it uses.

I hope you installed Notepad++ as it will make looking at Linux files easier for you

If using "My computer"
My computer > TM Nano > Root > etc
Edit the CCcam.cfg file with your new details.

You must not delete any other files.
