Hello guys,
I am currently using blade 500s with private image and now I am thinking of getting either TM Nano SE or Vu+ Zero. My budget is around £100. Is any of the these boxes can run Kodi/Xbmc or can you recommend something else in this price range. I would like to record on a usb hard drive or maybe on an internal HDD and playback recordings. I also would like a box that can be automatically update its channel list. I am prepared to spend a little bit more if there is something better. Any replies would be appreciated.

Sorry I meant Pli image not private image I hate predicted text

Thanks ferret for your reply. Are they capable of running addons like Genesis or any other addon to watch movies that's all I really need.
Thanks

Genesis did run on the Kodi plugin then it stopped im not sure of its current status.

If you want a box that runs XBMC/Kodi properly not via a plugin then spen a bit more and get the solo2

That's £239 any cheaper options? Is it worth getting one of the above boxes and get an Android box or something similar. I don't have a clue about these Android boxes are they any good. Any recommendations?

Well strictly speaking it is OpenElec, Blackhole were the first to include it in their images for the top boxes in the VU+ range then OpenATv and then VIx followed. Guess other groups too now.

I have it running on atv and vix its not all that good, i think tsmedia works beter on e2,

Not 100% sure on this but i believe the Blackhole implementation of XBMC ala Kodi is a lot more user friendly and like the original source rather than the hash up version you see on a lot of the other images.

I would never buy an android box to run Kodi for £50 you can get a raspberry Pi2 which will perform way better

found my way in again have bought the tm nano se to replace my solo and got kodidirect running on it,hit and miss and plenty of updates to do and install.fast box.
