I got a TM F3/5 when they were new out, just to see what all of the hype was about with the 'hybrid' IPTV / Sat receiver. If you have owned other Technomate receivers like the 1000/ 5000 / 6000 series that have been massivley popular over the years, youll also like this receiver. The OSD is an updated version (in HD) of the popular TM menu system, and wont take you long to get to grips with at all. The usual patch features are also present, but theres also new 'online' services.

Its been a while since ive had a play with the receiver, my new hobby (skydiving link in my siggy) now takes up most of my weekends where i used to play with receivers, and takes up ALL of my funds that used to buy receivers, but, over the next week, ill get the latest patch on it, and type up one of my more detailed reviews for everyone
