epg

hi, i posted this same question elsewhere on here then found this forum,the epg on my tm-800hd was working prefectly untill recently, iv tried to updat via the plugin but that doesn't work anymore, iv been told it's due to my box being old , is there a fix for the epg or is a new box required,cheers.
