Having owned the box from Nov 2010 , having spent £249 on the tm800hd, £60 on the tm wifi stick (that didnt work) and £59 on a western digital hdd installed by TM themselves (that still doesnt work ) are we now entitled to a full refund , now that we have been let down again with lies and false promises .Or have we not got a leg to stand on ?:Smokin:What do you guys think ?

I think (for what its worth) we should see what this week brings at least :)

I think after what they put you through looking at all you have purchased there in the wrong, from reading and learning on this forum I dont think they will ever get the nxp drivers sorted and are hoping somone on here will write them for them, I have the reciept for my tm 800 i bought it on 13/05 2011, I payed uk pound 188.33. I think for the likes of you squig the least they could do is give you the balance of the price you originally payed against what you can get it for now and also refund your hard drive and wireless dongle, I have mine working wireless with somthing that technomate didnt supply.

We were offered refunds ages ago.
I didn't take it then and I won't take it now.
I am p!ssed off with the box but I knew what I was buying and got stung, I would have been a happy bunny if it had worked out but for me it didn't, I still wouldn't ask for a refund or even accept one.
If I take a gamble I roll with it, I lost with this one but I take it on the chin as I knew it was a gamble.

Some people were not aware they were gambling so they have a different view to me but I see this as when I bought a video2000 unit when I should have bought a vhs or when I bought a hd dvd (3 months before blu-ray won :( ) when I should have bought a blu-ray player.

Even if tm offered a refund again I wouldn't take it as I was 100% aware I was buying untested hardware.

i bought it becasue i always used TM products and always liked them - ease of use and well built but we have been badly let down by Tm on this and i would like Dr lInux to come on now and tell me as well as all of you what is going on

Ellie, I would appreciate if you would always post when you buy new technology so that I can buy the opposite :)

I have a 50" samsung plasma 3D tv and the infra red sync to the glasses is buggy to say the least thats why the samsungs are bluetooth now :( .

I want a dm800se but am waiting for others to buy 1st as I have enough substandard junk here that I paid good money for.

Flipin impossible to watch a hd movie today with audio dropouts, reboot still same so feckin anoying.

Ive had a few lipsync issues I must admit (DW:3/7/11 v2)

Please Do not use other channel list ,this were explained few times in different posts
1-scan fresh
2-fallow digidude idea how to fix your channel list
3-99% or problem are from different channel list
4-if you try same channel list with may ur image no problem .
5-in iQ image 90% of core has changed it will take a bit longer to fix the channel compatibility.
6-you will get 100s of problem when using channel list either then from tm800
please take advise for short time do not use channel list made in may or by other linux boxes you will have problems after problems

we no for fecks sake whats that got to do with audio dropouts, unusable media player, no internal hard drive support, no time shift, no streaming, etc etc etc

Apart from all the know problems like no timeshift, no streaming and internal harddrive my box is working very good no audio dropouts hd volume is still a bit low apart from that am happy with my box

try 24-7-11 image it works perfect with Seagate hard disk or usb adopter
and fallow my ABC you will not experience any above problems
audio drop does not happen in image 24-7-11 if instruction is followed
lipsink comes from wrong channel list and old image use 24-7-11 is ok

yes really
image 24-7-11 i have tested and tested its very good if you test it will get same result if instructions followed

No I can not see the future but I believe in my test

if you were infront of me I will demo this box and prove to anyone it will be impossible to get green screen/lipsink/hard disk problems/and most the problems created by bad installation

for god sake just A/B/C is it too much to ask just takes 10 minutes to test
if do not get result i have then tell me anything you like is that a bet

Dr Linux, put a movie on a usb stick, put in the front usb slot, press play nothing happens, press ok movie plays, press pause movie pauses, press play TM800HD green screens. Fallow my instructions abc, do exactly what I say, do not pass go do not collect £200

So is the 24-7-11 going to be the new image ???
I wish to follow instruction ABC but where do I find this image ? Today is 11-7-11, 24-7-11 is in the future.
If you cannot get the date correct then I will not follow ABC instructions from person that does not even know the date.
If I cannot trust this filename/date how do I know you have not made more typo's and I break my box.

@ Dr Linux a bit off advice mate your going round in circles and making yourself look silly best bet that TM could do is offer a full refund for the people that wants to take it up
