after finding a channel list that instantly crashed the receiver, ive found a work around :)

if you have a channel list you like, but cannot use, ive found a way to make them 'stable'

unplug your satellite dish
load your channel list, and reload the services
press menu and enter the setup menu
select 'service searching'
select manual scan
ensure it says 'single transponder' for the scan type
press OK

itll scan, and obviously not find anything, as the dish is not connected, wait for it to finish

exit out of all menus

connect your dish

enjoy your channel list

It's obviously over-writing some files.

Do we know what these are so that they can be made available so that they can be transferred across?

If you use Dreamset or Dreambox edit to manage your settings then transfer from your box and save. This in theory would be a permanent fix.Top man again Digi Dude.
