Since the last release (yesterday) a few requests / suggestions etc have been made, and while they may not be huge fixes, ive implemented them and recompiled from the same files yesterdays image was built from.

Info for tonights release are:

1. Fastzap now defaulted to NO, this fixes the 'flash' of the last viewed channel when turning over.
2. Quick boquets now defaulted to YES, when using chan +/- itll jump to the next boquet channels instead of looping in the one boquet.
3. 'Ugly' dish moving icon replaced
4. Default HDD spindown changed from 5 mins to 30 secs
5. New MD5 Sum 75e96d634cbdd4530b89761309f4d112 TM800-DWiQ-03-07-11.zip

Compiled from source, based on the iQ release dated 24/06/11, SVN Revision # 20

As this is only a minor update, its still downloadable from the same link as yesterdays release, as below.

6-Updated Web Interface
7-digidudes customiser
8-digidudes advanced plugin
9-***Network mounts fixed***
10-***Rear USB mapping fixed***
11-***Picon paths to USB fixed***
12-Zap times hugely improved*
13- With all of the above installed, still start with over 5Mb free memory

*Zap times can be delayed greatly if picons are stored on HDD instead of USB flash memory as the HDD has to spun upto read the channels picon prior to zapping channel, this adds around 3 seconds to some zap times

I have been using this image since yesterday, Its without doubt the best one to date. With all the mapping done all the plugins already there it makes it the closest thing to a turn key unlocked linux box I have ever seen. Its great when you turn it on from form the mains nothing has changed or gone. This is so important for end users. Zapping is better than any sly box and cool epg works so well especially with picons. Every thing is there at your finger tips. Well done Digi. All we need now is for the IQ team to finish what they promise and it will be the best reciever out there.:Biggrin2:

small maybe but needed fixing IMO
QuickZap Bouquets, why would you want to loop the same Bouquet over and over ?
Fastzap Channel Change, personal preference here But I have read the majority seem to like a second or so of black screen rather than a freeze frame of previous channel
HDD Standby, better to put into standby in the shortest time possible I would think

This really is a great image very quick and easy to setup and looks great. Im still having problems installing the picons to rear usb via the ppannel though. I can't get them to display on cool epg?

you need to change the path/location in cool epg mate
wheile in cool epg press menu at the bottom you will see the path that need editing

Cheers john what do i change the path to?

ftp to box and see where picons are stored mine is rear HDD then click on the picon folder
you should see a location there somewhere /media/rear-disk/picon something like that
put that in Cool epg

Which channel list works with this image?

I've got one which I used with the UR Images which worked fine, but doesn't want to work with this image any ideas?

vhanabl or however its spelt - you can find it in the plugin menu

Just has lipsync go out on a HD Movie Channel, flicked up and back down a channel sorted the problem
but on doing this the audio went LOUD meaning the audio is deteriorating within the first 25 minutes of the film being on
