Hi guys, although i think this is technically the wrong section for this post, i would really appreciate it if people who visit the tm800 section voice their opinions on this.

I currently own tm800 and we all know how that is going. (good for me)

I am thinking about purchasing an Openbox S9 as an additional hd box for the back room, anyone has or had one?

Mainly interested for just viewing using cccam, but interested to know whether it could be used as a server like the tm500?

How is the software for it? Are there regular updates, new cccam 2.2.1 etc?

Can it be used with dcc to edit cccam.cfg and dreambox edit for channel transfer?

Anything else that is relevant.

Thanks.

im slightly confused, im def sure it has cccam and ethernet port aswell as firmware upgrades?

whats the difference between the above and linux?

basicly means ,NO ftp connection to the box.NO network connection to your pc to handle normal tasks that can be done with linux based ,but sure it will connect to your server as a cccam/newcamd client.

regards
