Hi, Any help please is setting my TM800HD with a static IP address.
I have a Linksys wireless router WRT54GS with the reciever plugged in with a Lan cable.
We have numerous laptops and phones that connect using the wireless.
The router gives the TM a different IP each day ?
Can I set the IP address in the TM or do I need to set it in the router as well?

Point me in the right direction please I'm pulling my hair out. CHEERS
:drink:

yes you can set a static ip on the tm800 but it is/was (not sure if its been fixed) a known bug that you will need to restart the network on every reboot.

to set a static ip address,
press the LAN button on your remote.
Unselect DHCP
Enter the ip, subnet mask, router ip, and dns server addresses
Press save

thats it, all done

If thats the case ,and I dont have a TM800 to verify,
you could always leave DHCP ticked and just assign it a static ip from within the router settings :)

I've paired my TM800's MAC to a static IP in the router.

I just set my router with a long lease time. Basically every device gets the same address on each reboot :)
