i did every thing it said in the pdf file, could not get it to work.

wanted to back up my box into an image or bin. any help please

if you have anything after the 30/08 image, you wont be able to create a backup m8

to enter miniweb, keep your eye on the front display when booting, as soon as it says 'checking key' press OK on the front of the receiver, NOT THE REMOTE, and an IP will be displayed, enter this IP into a web browser window and youll be connected to the miniweb

your receiver has to be connected to the same router as your computer

Hi Rats
Can you help please, when I put the ip address in the web browser it brings up a screen - UR Web Control - with the info below in the device info.

Device InformationDevice & Versions
Devicename: TM800HD
Enigma Version: OpenPLi 2010-07-14-HEAD
Image Version: TM800-UR-1.0.0-15/07/10
Frontprozessor Version: VNone
Webinterface Version: 1.6rc3
Tuners
Tuner A: Sharp BS2F7VZ0169 (DVB-S2)

However the menu on the tv through the remote states:
Menu / information / about states:

Image TM800-UR-1.0.0-28/08/10

Any help please ? point me in the right direction - Thanks

Hi, really basic question here: Is the tm-800 connected to the pc via a R232 cable? Is there any other way of doing it.

are you connected wireless ? or ethernet ?

I just use tut above it will then give you the IP of box then goto pc open browser enter the ip and miniweb loads
:)

Hi,
Ethernet. Do you mean I get the ip off the box and input it into my pc browser and I get into miniweb. So there is no physical connection, but it is all done through wireless.

Havent bought the box yet, but for the price it looks very good

many thanks

from what I remember it just connected
ethernet into box from router
follow the tut in post #1 its easy to follow
step by step :)

So just to be crystal clear, my laptop doesnt need to be connected by a cable to the box, so long as the TM800 is connected to the router via ethernet?

as far as I can remember yes mate
99% of the time Ive used wifi but I dont remember having the ethernet cable connected to my p
laptop mate at anytime

Im sure someone will put me right if Im wrong mate :)

in fact I may of wrote that tut at a time I didnt have a wifi card

my TM800 i have now has NEVER been connected to a computer, only to an ethernet lead (when not using wifi) and alsways flashed and updated (sometimes 30 odd times a day) by USB stick

the options are there on the DigitalWorldz Beta Im using taken from UR_ 2/2/11 source :)
the backup service/bouquets certainly work :)

Hi, does the UR_ 2/2/11 source image have the 7 day epg incorporated. Last night saw some youtube videos of the tm800 and very impressed with cool epg. Thanks again.

@ abu-baniaz, what you are describing is the miniroot, for flashing only, and accessed by tapping the poser button while booting. The miniweb is accedded by letting the receiver boot to 100%, then in the 2 seconds 'CHECKING KEY' is displayed in the receivers display panel, press the OK button, and the display will change to an IP address, type this into a browser, and that will access the miniweb for you, however, you will be unable to create a backup image from here if you are using the UR image

the youtube video (if the latest one showing EPG etc) is of a beta DW Team image that also got leaked, only DW modified or DW images (at the time of posting) have the files pre installed to run a full 7 day EPG

When I go into the mini web the attached are what I get. I've been letting it boot fully and entertaining the kids with messages on the screen and annoying the missus by using the remote on the PC.

I've attached screenshots of the screens with it fully booted and when I press okay after check key (I was not doing this before). I hope we are on the same hymn sheet.

thats not mini web mate
you don't seem you are following the tut correctly :(

power off box from back
power back on
box will start to boot, front display you will see % goto 100%
then Checking Keys, at this point press OK on front of box
it will then after a few seconds give you the box IP
then goto pc and enter this into url

I know the IP is the same as you would enter but it need to go though this processes for mini web to work

:)

Hi digidude, which image would you recommend that has incorporated:
1) miniweb access
2) stable cccam
3) 7 day epg like coolepg

I'm not up to advanced stuff like ftp, etc., and thought they all started with UR rather than DW.
Many thanks
